Big Chill Bets Big on Their Desserts, Opens a Dedicated ‘Cakery’ in Khan Market

Ever met a Delhite who doesn’t like the food at Big Chill?  We didn’t think so. It’s safe to say that The Big Chill Cafe is one of the most loved restaurants in the capital. Over the years, the restaurant has powered through and delivered high quality consistently.

Whether it’s their pastas or main grills, everyone seems to have their own favourite on the menu. Though something that is universally loved are their desserts. Big Chill can be credited for single handedly bringing Banofffee Pie back on the map. The cafe is now making a move to cash in on all the love they’ve received for their dessert offerings, by opening up a dedicated bakery.

Eat Burp Repeat spoke to the team, and the new cafe, named “The Big Chill Cakery”, is set to open within a day or two. The shop, located below the bar Boombox, in Khan Market, will only be open for take-aways; they haven’t included a seating area.

Their menu will build up on the already existing Big Chill desserts, adding cakes, tarts and other such baked goodies. We, for one, can’t wait to try out the extended menu for ourselves.
